We are very unfriendly here. I have to be the first to admit it because I caught myself on camera... trying to act like "self-portraits are cool. Sure. What are you staring at?"
I recently discovered a category called "Best of Craigslist," which is an international readers poll of best ads on Craigslist. It is amazing. I spent hours of awe-struck amusement.
These were sketches for my new comic on Nomorepotlucks.com. I wanted to find a way to combine queer drawings and my hopeless draw to men's fashion... pretty pretty pretty. I was also thinking about compiling them into a 2010 calender. What do you say, would it sell? One drawing per month? Per week? Hmm.
This was the first poster I made for Vogue Evolution. They were an openly queer Vogue crew on the show MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, and I loved them for a million reasons. I wrote some of my favourite quotes off of their myspace page.
Elisha Lim illustrates a comic called 100 Butches that has been featured in Diva, Curve, afterellen, NMP.org and has toured North America with Michelle Tea's legendary Sister Spit tour. Elisha also prints pleasing queer stuff like The Illustrated Gentleman Wall Calendar, which you can buy on etsy.com
