teachers

Teachers how I am in awe of you! Right now I have the tremendous task of teaching art to seventeen 8 year olds. Today we brainstormed about having enemies.

Cat Time

My sister, admittedly, has a cute cat. It is pink.
I wrote this song with Hayden. I mean, he doesn't know that. I hope.

I love how the evenings stay sunny in the summer

Chelsey took these beautiful photos with my cellphone! The saturation effect makes my belt and tshirt look even more coordinated than they did. That pleases me very much.
Thank you Miyuki for this wonderful interview on Asian Gay and Proud!

I figure that no one's broken cause no one's whole to begin with. We're all just a messy pretty pattern...

Better editing, better music. I hope this one makes you laugh. This is a draft of a Sex Appeals song that I just love. Lyrics; A. Naqvi, N. Forde, S.Creagen. Music; E. Lim.

in love with a robot

Lately I've been drawling less and nerdily absorbed with garage band, which is an amazing way to make an extreme amateur sound a little finished. I figure that counts as new art every day, so I wanted to find a way to upload this cheesy Royksopp cover, but apparently it has to be attached to a movie. So this is an extremely random collection of videos from my bedroom and the sister spit tour van. It doesn't have a narrative, but let's see, maybe it could be about anticipating the tour, and being a workaholic, and then once I was on tour, being surprisingly homesick.

lonely

well it's just impossible not to be lonely. I thought I'd make a project for myself and take photographs of everyone's garbage on Palmerston ave.

where's omar?

This is a totally inspiring public art project. Omar Khadr from Toronto, has been held in American custody in Guantanamo Bay since he was 15 for alleged war crimes. Only now, at age 23, is he facing trial, and authorities have decided to admit confessions that he made as a 15-year-old, allegedly under threats of torture and rape.
These cut-outs use the haunting photos of him as a 15-year old taken into custody. Where's Omar? Why isn't there more press about him? When will he be treated fairly? Where did his life go? When will he be free?
