Gel markers worked well on a window though. Alejandra and I plan to fill every panel of this old broken window. So far we've drawn her shoes and her heart.
I followed a friend shopping today. The manicured marketing campaigns had an amazing power for making me feel contradictory emotions. Delighted! Depressed! Delighted! Depressed!

This lady was in front of me on a crowded subway and from what I could see waist-up she looked conservative. When I finally sat down I was surprised to look down and see the her boots. Then I realized that a lot of us were staring at them.
(verse 2) I'm too shy for a phonecall so I'm writing on your facebook wall My friends told me to play it cool but I said I know what to do. First I had a bottle of wine and then I even made it rhyme I said "This might be corny but you make me horny" The next day I realized that drunk facebooking might not be too wise.
(more of verse 1) Do you know what I mean you're like basically my friend already why don't we just go out for coffee? I think that we could get along I think that you should understand After all it's like you're already My friend
VERSE 1 I'll talk to you and I'll say I know Megha, and I'll say they know Nisha, and I'll say you know Nisha but you don't know Megha. But I guess you could say we're in the same clique We're in the same clique if you know what I mean.
The Bike Song lyrics by Elisha Lim and the excellent Meghan Greene
It was a beautiful day in a beautiful park but it made me think of you, and the terrible night you spent in this park. It was such a wonderful afternoon and I didn't think my sadness would show up in the photo but look, it did.
today I discovered at work that the bad hard eraser on the end of my pencil works as a great blending stump, just like the charcoal website recommended, so I took it for a ride on the subway.
The secret is, I only drew it because I thought it was a portfolio requirement for my graphic design school. But it isn't really, I just read the instructions wrong, and now I'm all stained and scuffed with coal for no reason. Heh.
- our last goodbye - my last gesture - she mailed it back in her last letter - I didn't find it until I cleared out my dresser, just when I needed it, my last five dollars.
Hahahaha, I know, nothing could be cheesier. I had the pleasure of drawing Miss Shane for the October issue of the Australian magazine 'Bound.' The real thrill was finally getting her in a colour coordinated outfit...
I was pretty thrilled to illustrate for our national newspaper. It was published in black and white which was too bad, but there was a sliver of orange big ben on the front page, which was very exciting.
I asked each kid what animal they would like me to draw. Roza said, an eagle. It's the only one I've finished so far, but when I stop procrastinating I'll work on the others. Yalim wants a lion. Soeway wants an alligator. Maeya wants a snake.
The kids next door blow me away. Roza wants to be a doctor so that he can look after his mother. His little brother wants to be an artist. Roza looks like he'd like to be that carefree. He says the kids tease him at school - "they call me Rosa Parks," he grimaces. "Ah," I try to say, "you know, she was a hero." Do I love him? Yes I do.
