I was at the sister spit show last night, and I just wanted to say how much I loved your performance!
My best friend is into Kpop, so of course She's gotten me into it too and I'm a huge fan of Big Bang, in large part because of how much G-Dragon (and to a lesser extent T.O.P) gleefully revels in queerness, sartorial and otherwise- largely masculine cuts, but in day-glo pink or polka dots or with a giant floral brooch, and always, always flashy kicks. There's a thread of the American hip hop dandyism of Andre 3000 and Kanye in it, but plenty of swagger without Kanye's No Homo bravado. He just has a fun, fresh, exciting approach to masculinity and its fantastic to hear hundreds of mainstream teen girls screaming for it.
Elisha Lim illustrates a comic called 100 Butches that has been featured in Diva, Curve, afterellen, NMP.org and has toured North America with Michelle Tea's legendary Sister Spit tour. Elisha also prints pleasing queer stuff like The Illustrated Gentleman Wall Calendar, which you can buy on etsy.com

Haha, sorry for the essay!
